After finishing primary school, she enrolled at a local high school. However, due to issues with school fees, she had to transfer schools multiple times. One of her teachers saw her public speaking abilities and felt she’d make an excellent journalist.
Upon finishing high school Eve enrolled in college to study Journalism, but she quitted out due to financial difficulties.

After dropping out of journalism school, she met her then-boyfriend Trevor during the 2020 lockdown. Trevor helped her create a YouTube channel, where she posted her first video in 2020.
In December 2020, she met with three gengetone musicians: Madocho, Stupid Boy, and Liyetin. She conducted an interview with them, and the video received a lot of views on YouTube. In that period she made the same type of videos, building her audience daily.
Eve Mungai symbolizes the term “from grass to grace.” Within a year, she had successfully transformed her life. Her YouTube career propelled her to prominence and began to provide her with a comfortable income.
Unfortunately, Mungai ended her relationship with her boyfriend in 2024, and the Mungai eve channel was renamed Kenya Online Media, which became wholly owned by Trevor.
